The position was consolidated by useful knocks by PJadeja (65) and Shakti Zala (39) in the middle order.Maharashtra lost four wickets for 61 runs, but their hopes were keptalive by an unbroken fifth wicket partnership of 65 runs betweenYogesh Takavale and Parag More, both of whom were on 27 at stumps.
