da betcris: They may not be able to compete with the likes of Leeds or Middlesbrough but Nottingham Forest still have a massive chance of gaining promotion this season.
da pinup bet: Under Aitor Karanka, Nottingham Forest have become a solid but not spectacular team in the league. It’s going to be an incredibly competitive playoff race this season as there are 11-12 teams that will be contending for promotion.
Central to their promotion chances this season will be the form of forward, Lewis Grabban who has scored nine goals in the league while key players Joao Carvalho’s and Joe Lolley will be essential in supporting Grabban in attack.
Over the summer, Forest sent academy product, Ben Brereton on loan to Blackburn Rovers for the season with an obligation to buy in January. While he may not have become a reliable goalscorer during his time with Forest, Karanka may regret letting the young striker leave the club.
The Breakdown
Blackburn will have to pay for £7 million for the striker in January and he could become a future star for the club if he delivers on his potential.
In his final season with Nottingham Forest, he scored five goals in the league and although that is a fairly small tally, he has the talent to become a high quality player in the league.
He’s made eight appearances for Blackburn and is yet to open his account with the club but if Tony Mowbray can harness his talent, there’s no doubt he could sell him on for a hugely inflated fee in the future.
